Help Needed

Hello my dear friends!
I have a request for you to copy and paste and send a quick email for me. Here's why:

My parents-in-law live in the most amazing place in Southern England. It is by far the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The above picture is just a mile or two down the road from them. Seriously gorgeous, huh? It's actually been declared a place of outstanding beauty! A few years ago, there was serious talk of sticking a disgusting landfill right in the middle of this gorgeousness! Not only would it be an eyesore, but they live in a place where roads are very narrow and not made for large amounts of traffic. It would really disturb the peace! My in-laws fought long and hard and were able to save their beautiful town. Unfortunately, only 4 years later, it's happening again. They're trying to get it to be a different kind of landfill (non-inert vs inert). Long story short, we're asking you to send the following email (it can be edited if you feel the need). As my father in law says, it's a numbers game. We need as many people as we can, and it would take just a few seconds of your time!!

FRESHFIELD LANE BRICKWORK'S LIMITED - LANDFILL

I understand Freshfield Lane Brickwork's Limited (FLB) have applied for their site to be included within a WSCC list of possible inert landfill sites.

I am acquainted with the area which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

A Landfill would result in a substantial increase in HGV movements on inadequate roads serving the site resulting in unacceptable danger to the safety of other road users and pedestrians particularly in Danehill village.

The increased traffic would damage the character and tranquility of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Danehill Conservation Area.

The issues raised by the current proposal were examined exhaustively and conclusively at the 2007 Public Inquiry. That inquiry concluded with a comprehensive rejection of the site for Landfill use and the recommendation of a low level restoration. A change in the type of waste does NOT alter the fundamental unsuitability of FLB as a landfill site.

Please remove FLB from the list of sites.
